Impressively driving the series into a more living cartoon atmosphere,Gray delivers cracking extravagant set-pieces which strike a fine balance between hard- hitting combat scenes with wonderfully bonkers CGI that takes the car races into flight of fantasy. Windon follow Furious 7's James Wan's decision to retain some of his own style within the series,as Gray separates the locations with whip-pan chapter headings and surprisingly still group shots showing the friendships, being rolled straight from Gray's Hip-Hop epic. The plot: Whilst honeymooning with his wife Letty Ortiz, Dominic Toretto is approached by cyberterrorist Cipher,and asked to leave his 'family' and join her criminal gang. It's hard not to smile.During Easter I realised that I have not seen a single 2017 film! Being a fan of the franchise,I decided that it was time to drive into my first 2017 movie. (The villain in this piece, played by a cool Theron, is a direct threat to the team's family and their deals.) While the movie still occasionally objectifies women - and still doesn't seem to care much about story, dialogue, or smarts - The Fate of the Furious has at least four truly amazing, spectacular action sequences their very ingenuity and the enthusiasm with which they're carried out are infectious. The characters are now older (most are around 40), and their need to out-cool each other has subsided, replaced by loyalty and family bonds. Gary Gray ( Friday, The Italian Job, Straight Outta Compton) takes the wheel, and while he doesn't explore any new territory, he also doesn't sputter out. The previous film, Furious 7, was arguably the best in the adrenaline-fueled franchise to date now director F.

So The Fate of the Furious doesn't really do anything different, but it also won't disappoint.

Like other recent movies in the popular franchise, this one settles into effortless cruise control, escalated only by its extravagant stunt sequences.
